United Airlines offering internet taster sessions by Cheap Flights Booker UK
United Airlines has launched a "try before you buy" promotion giving passengers the chance to try its inflight internet service for free.
The offer will be available to customers travelling between New York JFK and the carrier"s hubs in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Until 31 December, passengers on the transcontinental premium service (p.s.) flights will be offered a free session when they create a new account with the Gogo Inflight Internet facility, which is provided by Aircell.
The technology allows users of Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as laptops and smartphones to send and receive instant messages, access the internet and check email accounts.
Allen Will, managing director of strategic aircraft programs for United Airlines, said the inflight web service provides "an even more productive and enjoyable travel experience" for passengers.
He added: "With Gogo Inflight Internet and an AC power port at every seat, p.s. customers will get more accomplished in the air this holiday season, leaving time for more holiday cheer on the ground."
The carrier also has hubs in Denver, Chicago and Washington DC in the US and operates flights to several destinations in the Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America regions.
