Jumeirah to manage luxury hotel in Bangkok by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Dubai-based hospitality company Jumeirah has announced that it will manage a new luxury hotel in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand.

The five-star Jumeirah Bangkok will have 305 rooms and will boast a premium location on the Chao Phraya river, not far from the city"s central business district.

It will have a 200-metre frontage on the water, meaning it will be easily accessible by boat.

The concept for the new hotel was developed by Singapore-based architecture firm Hamiltons International in conjunction with British company United Designs.

Set to open in 2014, Jumeirah Bangkok will be at the heart of a new mixed-use development that will combine Thai traditions with international styles.

Guests will be offered access to a signature Talise spa, retail outlets, an art gallery and various other facilities.

The new hotel brings the total number of properties currently being developed or managed by Jumeirah around the world to 41.

In 2008, the company agreed to operate a private island near Phuket, Thailand.
