AA to offer Manchester to New York flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

American Airlines (AA) has announced that it will launch flights to New York JFK from Manchester this year.

The new service will get underway from 13 May and will be one of three new American Airlines routes from the New York hub, with links to San Jose in Costa Rica and Madrid in Spain set to operate from 6 April and 1 May respectively.

These changes will bring the carrier"s total number of destinations served from the US city to 31.

People travelling from Manchester to New York will be offered daily flights on a Boeing 757 aircraft.

Jim Carter, vice-president of American Airlines" eastern sales division, said: "We"re excited to add these three great destinations to our schedule.

"These new flights are perfect additions to our sparkling, state-of-the-art JFK terminal - a major international gateway that provides best-in-class service and amenities for our premium and coach customers from our New York hub."

Andrew Stokes, chief executive of Marketing Manchester, said the organisation welcomed the opportunity to work with American Airlines on promoting travel between the British city and New York.
