BA offering new luxuries in first class by Cheap Flights Booker UK

British Airways" (BA) premium passengers can look forward to using a number of new amenities and luxuries when travelling with the airline this year.

The carrier debuted its new first class product this week on a Boeing 777 flight to Chicago.

One of the biggest changes is a bed in the first class suite that is 60% wider at the shoulders, offering enhanced comfort for people on long-haul flights.

Other amenities available following the £100m redesign include an inflight entertainment system with a 15-inch screen, a writing desk that converts into a dining table and electronically adjustable blinds.

BA"s intention was to create an "intimate private jet" feel for its first class passengers, said Mark Hassell, the airline"s head of customer experience.

"We have resisted gadgets and gimmicks and focused instead on simplicity and quality," he added.

"Every feature has been carefully considered and researched to ensure we are giving our customers what they want."
