BA teams up with Comic Relief by Cheap Flights Booker UK
British Airways (BA) has announced that Comic Relief is its new long-term charity partner.
The association between the two organisations will aim to raise money for poor and vulnerable people across the UK and in some of the world"s poorest countries.
Kevin Cahill, chief executive of Comic Relief, said the partnership will enable the charity to "reach out to staff and customers worldwide, all year round".
BA chief executive Willie Walsh said: "I"m proud to announce our new partnership with Comic Relief, which will expand and develop British Airways" role in helping some of the world"s most vulnerable people.
"Comic Relief is a charity which I believe will inspire all our people on the ground and in the air."
The airline raises money for good causes through customer donations and other sources.
It gave over £5m to charities last year and also provides support to over 100 conservation programmes and community projects around the world.
