Eurostar Services Remain Suspended
Eurostar services remain suspended by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Eurostar services between London and Brussels remain suspended for a second day.
A serious accident involving two local commuter trains which occurred yesterday morning (15 February) continues to affect the route.
Fatalities have occurred as a result of the crash, which took place at around 8:30 local time (7:30 GMT).
"The scene of the accident is where the domestic commuter lines and high-speed lines meet at Halle near Brussels. This means that Eurostar services and other rail services including Thalys are unable to operate," the company said in a statement.
"Because of the seriousness of the accident and the expected impact on both domestic and international rail services, passengers between the UK and Brussels are strongly advised to postpone or cancel their journeys."
Services between London and Paris are operating as normal, but Eurostar will be running a reduced schedule on its Lille trains.
Passengers will be refunded their tickets or can request for an exchange.
