Flybe today (3 February) handed over a cheque for £153,373 to Cancer Research UK, its charity partner.
The presentation by Jim French CBE, chairman and chief executive of the airline, to Cancer Research UK account manager Tim Rowland was arranged to raise awareness of World Cancer Day on 4 February.
Flybe raised the money through passenger contributions and staff fundraising efforts over the past 12 months.
Mr French said: "We are absolutely delighted to be able to contribute to the enormously vital work that Cancer Research UK does towards beating cancer.
"Our staff and passengers have given generously both their time and money over the past 12 months and as our partnership with the charity continues, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to raising these vital funds for this well-deserving cause."
Mr Rowland said that the carrier"s staff and passengers have done an "amazing job".
Flybe has arranged a number of special activities to raise money for World Cancer Day tomorrow, including a two-day, 440-mile cycling challenge in Jersey.
