Flybe To Boost Southampton Flight Capacity For Rugby Fans
Flybe to boost Southampton flight capacity for rugby fans by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Flybe will increase capacity on its route from Dublin to Southampton this weekend to cater for Irish rugby fans travelling to England.
A larger aircraft will be used to operate a flight departing Ireland"s capital city at 20:35 on the evening of 26 February.
The change has been made to meet higher demand from supporters who will be heading to Twickenham on Saturday afternoon to see Ireland take on England in the Six Nations tournament.
Flybe said the move shows its commitment to "bringing affordable, convenient travel to its customers" and "championing sporting activity in the regions in which it operates".
Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: "At Flybe, we always try to respond quickly to the needs of our passengers and the aircraft upgrade from our usual 78-seat Q-400 is a perfect example of this."
Other remaining fixtures in the 2010 Six Nations series include a match between Ireland and Wales in Dublin on 13 March and the meeting of France and England in Paris on 20 March.
