Flybe to launch first route from Bournemouth by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Flybe has announced that it will launch its first route from Bournemouth on England"s south coast this year.

A service linking the popular holiday destination to Manchester in the north-west will get underway on 27 May.

Business and leisure travellers are expected to welcome the route, which will provide six weekly flights departing every day except Saturday.

Mike Rutter, Flybe"s chief commercial officer, said the new service reflects the airline"s commitment to "continued growth" at Manchester airport and development into new regions.

Bournemouth airport managing director Rob Goldsmith said: "At a time when the economy is still struggling we are delighted to welcome Flybe as a new airline at Bournemouth airport.

"Manchester is one of our most requested destinations and I know that business and leisure travellers alike will be keen to take advantage of this direct link to the north."

Flybe also offers flights to Belfast, Paris, Milan and several other destinations from Manchester.
