Irish town to host poetry festival by Cheap Flights Booker UK
People with a passion for poetry might be interested in paying a visit to the town of Dun Laoghaire just outside Dublin next month to attend a special event.
The Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Poetry Now festival is set to run from 25 to 28 March this year.
It aims to celebrate and promote poetry from around the world by inviting writers to Ireland from various countries.
Albania, Mexico, the US, Spain and the Czech Republic are among the nations that will be represented at Poetry Now this year.
Those who arrange a trip to Ireland for the festival will be able to attend a number of free events that require advance booking, including a lecture by Belinda McKeon on 25 March and the announcement of the Irish Times Poetry Now Award on 27 March.
Most events will take place at the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire.
Travellers can catch flights to Dublin with carriers such as bmi, Aer Lingus and Air France.
