New series of driving guides to be launched by Cheap Flights Booker UK

DK Eyewitness Travel has announced that it will be launching a new set of driving guides this year.

The Back Roads series will begin with books focusing on France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain and Ireland, all of which will be published on 22 March.

Each publication will let visitors "unearth the true soul of each country", according to DK Eyewitness Travel.

In a statement announcing the new guides, the company said: "Discovering a country on back roads and byways allows visitors to slow down and savour the very essence of a place, experiencing breathtaking scenery, historical treasures, local hospitality and regional cuisine along the way."

There will be 24 or 25 driving routes in each book, covering everything from the culinary hotspots of Umbria to the mountain roads of the Pyrenees, as well as the world-famous cities and sights in-between.

Readers will also be able to make use of hotel and restaurant listings, a pull-out map of each country and practical information on road signs, parking, driving conditions and other topics.
