Continental Passengers To Be Offered More Leg Room At Check In
Continental passengers to be offered more leg room at check in by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers flying in economy class with Continental Airlines will soon have the option to pay for extra leg room.
The carrier announced that, from 17 March, it will offer customers the option of purchasing unreserved economy seats with more space.
People who are willing to pay extra for more comfort will be able to arrange the premium seat assignments at check-in.
Jim Compton, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Continental, said: "Our customers want more choices.
"Seats with additional leg room are higher-value seats and we want to offer them to customers who recognise that value."
The airline"s OnePass Elite frequent flyer members and people they are travelling with have the option of assigning themselves economy seats with extra leg room without charge.
Continental offers a number of services from the UK, including four daily flights to New York and two to Houston from London.
The carrier recently announced that it was extending its mobile boarding facility to Heathrow airport, becoming the first airline to offer the service on flights from the UK to the US.
