Flybe Seeing High Demand For Flights To France
Flybe seeing high demand for flights to France by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Flybe has revealed that planned industrial action by cabin crew staff at Air France has led to an increase in demand for its flights to French destinations.
Air France"s cabin crew workers have called for a three-day strike from 28 March in a bid to show solidarity with British Airways staff who are set to stage two separate walkouts this month.
There has already been a "groundswell" of interest in Flybe"s services to and from France, the regional carrier revealed.
Passengers will be offered flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle, Avignon, La Rochelle, Nice and other destinations from the airline"s bases in the UK, which include Southampton, Belfast, Birmingham and Manchester.
Mike Rutter, Flybe"s chief commercial officer, said: "Our established reputation in serving regional France is obviously being viewed as a reliable and great value alternative in light of the threatened industrial action, being widely reported as called for between 28 March [and] 31 March."
Other European destinations served by the airline from the UK include Milan, Salzburg and Dubrovnik.
