Manchester airport to create new "arrivals experience" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Manchester airport has launched an initiative inviting members of the public to submit photographs that will be used to create a new "arrivals experience".

Local people can provide photographs of the people and places of Greater Manchester, which will be displayed to create a "sense of place" for incoming passengers as they arrive at the airport.

Those who would like to submit images can do so on the Manchester airport Flickr group and could see their photographs put on permanent display in the hub"s first terminal.

Sarah Barrett, head of customer experience at Manchester, said: "We aspire to provide a world-class experience for our customers and part of this involves empowering them to tell us what they want to see.

"As the gateway to the region we also want visitors to experience the friendly welcome that the north is traditionally famous for."

The airport is set to welcome an increasing number of travellers from the United Arab Emirates this summer, with Etihad Airways recently announcing that it will increase the capacity of its flights to Abu Dhabi from Manchester in June.
