New hotels and marina to open in El Gouna by Cheap Flights Booker UK

There will be some new facilities on offer to travellers visiting the Red Sea region of Egypt this year when two new hotels and a marina open in El Gouna.

The new marina will be an extension of the existing Abu Tig facility and will provide a number of new opportunities for marine tourism, with the capacity to host vessels up to 60 metres in length.

Both hotels - the Fanadir El Gouna and Mosaique El Gouna - will be four-star properties located next to each other on the marina.

The establishments are set to open in November and will comprise over 50 rooms each, as well as amenities including pools, bars and restaurants.

Mayar Abdel Aziz, vice-president of marketing at development company Orascom, said: "El Gouna has grown in popularity year-on-year and we need to meet the high level of demand.

"The new hotels will add to the extensive accommodation we already offer in El Gouna and will be a welcome addition to the resort."

Flights to Hurghada - which is about 40km from El Gouna - are available with carriers including easyJet, Egyptair and bmi.
