PortAventura to celebrate 15th anniversary by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Holidaymakers will be offered plenty of entertainment at the PortAventura theme park near Barcelona this year as the attraction celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Officially Spain"s first theme park, PortAventura has welcomed almost 50m visitors since it opened to the public on 1 May 1995.

This year"s celebrations will get underway on 26 March and will include premieres of three live shows.

PortAventura LIVE! will be performed at the Great Theatre, providing entertainment for audiences with dancing and acrobatics arranged to reflect each of the park"s five themed areas.

Visitors will also be able to head to the Far West area to see two performances - Can Can Forever and Bang Bang West, which will feature all sorts of energetic dance routines, stunts and tricks.

A carnival of floats and dancers is being arranged to mark PortAventura"s 15th anniversary, allowing guests to join in with the celebrations in "true Spanish fiesta style".

As ever, visitors will be able to test their nerve this year on popular attractions such as the Furius Baco ride, the Hurakan Condor drop and the Dragon Khan rollercoaster.
