Us Airways Launches Inflight Internet

US Airways launches inflight internet by Cheap Flights Booker UK

US Airways has this week launched a new wireless internet service on five of its Airbus A321 aircraft.

The Gogo Inflight Internet product, which is provided by Aircell, allows owners of laptops or Wi-Fi-enabled devices to check email accounts, surf the web or access online entertainment during their flight.

At 10,000 feet, an announcement will be made informing passengers that they can begin using the service, which can be paid for by credit card.

All 51 A321s in the US Airways fleet will be equipped with inflight internet technology by 1 June, with a Wi-Fi symbol being placed at the boarding door of each plane to inform customers of the offering.

Andrew Nocella, the airline"s senior vice-president of marketing and planning, said: "Gogo fits in perfectly with our business model by offering more choices in flight.

"Our customers are able to be more productive with their time and have new ways to stay entertained in the air."

US Airways will be promoting the service by giving users one free session when they create their profile.

The offer will be available until 1 June.
