"The Kelvingrove is a completely different place at night," guide Norman Walker told the Daily Record newspaper.

It is expected that visitors will be keen to visit the Egyptian room once the doors have been closed for the day.

This is the resting place of the mummy Pa-ba-sa, who has been linked with the pharaoh Psamtek I from the 26th Dynasty that ruled over ancient Egypt between 656 and 640 BC.
