American Airlines extends online check-in by Cheap Flights Booker UK

American Airlines has announced an extension to its online check-in facility to make the service available for people catching international flights.

Passengers can now check in online for global services as well as the carrier"s connections within the US and subsequently print out or email their boarding pass from anywhere in the world.

The offering becomes available two to 24 hours before international departures and one to 24 hours in advance of domestic services.

Passengers booked on flights out of the US will need their passport information and can only check in online if they meet international travel requirements.

Derek DeCross, American Airlines" managing director of interactive marketing, said: "Online check-in enables customers to avoid an extra stop and head straight to the gate, saving valuable time when travelling."

He went on to say that the extension to the technology is "another step in our efforts to help simplify the entire travel experience for our customers".

American Airlines operates an international network that includes flights to 250 cities in 40 countries, including New York, Miami, San Francisco and Dallas in the US.
