The tourist board spokeswoman went on to describe Kenya as a "land of endless potential" for people hoping to see Africa"s "big five" - the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros.

A recent report from the Post Office showed that the Kenyan shilling was one of the currencies to see substantial growth in demand from customers in March this year.
