Lufthansa to launch flights to Dresden from Heathrow by Cheap Flights Booker UK

People from the UK planning to visit Germany will soon be offered a new travel option when Lufthansa launches flights to Dresden from London Heathrow.

The airline will introduce a daily service to the city from 19 April that will use an Airbus A319 operated by bmi, which is part of the Lufthansa group.

Passengers will be accommodated in 138 seats and provided with the German airline"s range of onboard dining options.

The outbound flight will leave Heathrow at 12:35 every day and return from Dresden at 16:05 local time, with a journey duration of around two hours in each direction.

According to the German National Tourist Office, Dresden is sometimes described as the country"s own "Florence on the Elbe".

Located in the state of Saxony near the border with the Czech Republic, the city is home to a number of historic monuments and cultural landmarks, such as the Zwinger palace, the Hofkirche and the Frauenkirche.
