Manchester airport launches new lounge by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Manchester airport has introduced a new lounge, which will reportedly be the first of a number of new products being offered to passengers this year.

The Escape lounge is located alongside a new Emirates facility opened in October 2009, which will soon host passengers catching flights to Dubai on the carrier"s Airbus A380.

Travellers can book a place in the new lounge via Manchester airport"s Travel Extras Store, an online portal that has been introduced as a "one-stop shop" offering a number of additional services for customers.

Products including car parking, luggage tracking, overseas assistance in an emergency and vehicle hire will be available through the web page.

Andrew Harrison, commercial director at the airport, said the new offerings follow a number of improvements that were carried out last summer, which he described as "a massive success".

He added: "We completely rejuvenated old infrastructure and modernised it for the benefit of the consumer here at Manchester and we were delighted with the results.

"By unveiling the new Travel Extras Store, we"re looking to expand the amount of touch points we have with our customers and I want the new online store to give our users the best products available to them."
