F1 World Championship Heads To Europe

F1 World Championship heads to Europe by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Motorsport fans planning trips in Europe over the coming months will have several opportunities to catch up with the Formula 1 World Championship.

The 2010 race season began with an event in Bahrain in March, which was followed by meetings in Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai.

Formula 1 drivers and teams have now travelled west in preparation for the first race on European soil, which will be held just outside Barcelona on 9 May.

Fans will be heading to Monte Carlo to see the destination"s famous grand prix on 16 May, which will be followed by an event in Istanbul two weeks later.

The championship will then head to Canada for a race in Montreal on 13 June, before returning to Europe for stages in Valencia (27 June), Budapest (1 August) and other cities.

Following the first four meetings of the 2010 Formula 1 World Championship, Jenson Button leads the field following wins in Australia and China, with Nico Rosberg in second place and Fernando Alonso third.
