Flybe confirms second route from Manston by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Shortly after introducing its inaugural service to Edinburgh from Manston, Flybe has revealed its second route from the Kent airport.
The carrier will launch flights to Manchester on 6 September, with six connections set to be made available on the route throughout the year.
Flybe said that the service reinforces its commitment to Manston airport and to offering flights from Kent.
The new route will be operated by a Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
Mike Rutter, the airline"s chief commercial officer, said: "Flybe is especially pleased to be able to announce this second new route to Manchester from Manston on the day when we see our first ever flight from Manston to Edinburgh take off.
"This additional service, coming so soon after the launch of our new Scottish route, is further evidence of our commitment to Manston and reiterates our contribution to assisting the airport"s future growth."
Travellers based in the south-east can also access Flybe"s network from its base in Southampton, which includes flights to Paris, Amsterdam, Dubrovnik, Faro and several other destinations.
