Iberia to launch new route to Argentina by Cheap Flights Booker UK

People planning to visit South America this year will be offered a new travel option when Iberia launches new flights to Cordoba in Argentina.

The airline will serve the city from its hub in Madrid, providing convenient connections for travellers who will be starting their journey from London Heathrow.

Iberia will become the first European carrier to serve the Madrid-Cordoba route when the new service gets underway on 1 October.

Flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at times that are designed to enable easy connections to the carrier"s network of European destinations via Madrid.

Cordoba is the second largest city in Argentina after the capital, Buenos Aires.

Iberia said that the new route will strengthen its leadership in the region and bring "substantial benefits" to the city.

The airline currently accounts for 26% of the air passenger transport market between Europe and Argentina, a share that is expected to increase to 30% with the new service.

Three weekly return flights were added to Iberia"s route to Buenos Aires in February this year.
