Ireland prepares for Street Performance World Championship by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers planning a trip to Ireland in June will have the chance to enjoy some unique entertainment at the AIB Street Performance World Championship.

Completely free to attend, the event will be held at Fitzgerald Park and Mardyke Sports Ground in Cork on 12 and 13 June and at Merrion Square in Dublin from 17 to 20 June.

Spectators will be able to see some unique shows by street performers from around the world, including last year"s champions the USA Breakdancers, who will be returning for a special appearance.

There will also be contortionists, jugglers, comedians, balancing acts, clowns and much more to enjoy at the events.

In Dublin, visitors will be able to gather along Upper Mount Street on 20 June to take part in an attempt to break the world record for the most people simultaneously bouncing on space hoppers.

As well as providing plenty of fun, this event will raise money for the Africa Aware charity.

Several carriers operate flights to Dublin, including bmi and Air France, while Aer Lingus offers a service to Cork.
