Many parents "willing to take kids out of school for a holiday" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Many British parents would be willing to take their children out of school for a cheap holiday, according to a new survey.
Nearly half (44%) of the holidaymakers polled by travel add-ons company Holiday Extras said it was unfair that prices go up during school breaks and that they would be willing to arrange a family trip during term time.
Some 28% of the respondents disagreed with this view and said they would not risk damaging their children"s education by taking them on holiday when they should be at school.
A fifth (19%) of people agreed that it would not do much harm to a primary school child"s education to take them out of school, compared to only 3% who thought the same with regards to secondary school pupils.
Holiday Extras recently carried out a separate piece of research on travellers" views on the World Cup, with almost half (47%) of respondents saying they will see the big matches if they have time and only 16% revealing that they plan to watch every game.
