South Africa looking for "adventure ambassadors" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

South Africa"s national tourist board has announced the launch of a campaign to promote adventure holidays in the country.

In partnership with the National Geographic television channel, South African Tourism has commenced a search to find a British person to be part of an exclusive group of travellers who will serve as "adventure ambassadors".

People all over the UK are being invited to enter the contest to win a seven-day trip to the country, which will feature trekking, surfing, wildlife tracking, canoeing, bungee jumping and other activities.

The British winner will join lucky individuals from six other countries on the adventure, which will be documented on film and in print and online articles.

Cameraman Paul Mungeam, who helped launch South Africa"s inaugural adventure tourism campaign last year, said: "South Africa is such a fantastic destination for adventure travel.

"You have mountains to climb and oceans to dive in, a range of some of the biggest and best adrenaline activities in the world, and you will share them all with such fun and friendly people!"

Travellers can reach the country by taking flights to Cape Town, Johannesburg and other cities.
