BA offering sports updates on New York flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers catching business class flights to New York from London City with British Airways (BA) can now make use of an inflight portal offering World Cup football and Wimbledon tennis updates for smartphones.

The airline announced that it had introduced the Club Mobile portal in partnership with SITA and inflight connectivity provider OnAir.

Smartphone users can switch on their device and will receive a welcome message containing a link to the information service.

In addition to the sports news, the gateway will provide weather and traffic updates and allow passengers to access local events guides.

BA currently operates two daily business class flights from London City to New York, offering 32 seats on each journey.
