Bmibaby "still UK"s most punctual low-cost carrier" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Bmibaby is celebrating being named the most punctual low-cost carrier registered in the UK in the first quarter of 2010.

According to figures released by flightontime.info, the airline operated 77.8% of its flights within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time between January and March.

This compares to an average punctuality rate of 69.6% for low-cost carriers in the first three months of the year.

Julian Carr, managing director of the airline, said: "This is a great achievement for bmibaby. We are committed to offering our customers a punctual service and our team work hard to ensure this happens.

"We will continue to provide a high standard punctual service, at great low fares."

Figures from flightontime.info also show that bmi regional operated 87.7% of its flights within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time in the first quarter, followed by KLM on 85.7%.
