Currency Firm Reveals Non Euro Hotspots
Currency firm reveals "non-euro hotspots" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The "non-euro hotspots" of Croatia and Bulgaria will be key destinations for British travellers this summer, according to International Currency Exchange (Ice).
Croatia"s kuna is the company"s third most popular currency for July 2010, despite a slight fall in the pound"s value.
Sterling has improved by 2.93% year-on-year against the Bulgarian lev, meaning Britons will get even more for their money in a country that, according to Ice, is already known for its affordability.
The company also highlighted the benefits on offer to travellers visiting the eurozone this year, with the pound strengthening by 2.97% against the single European currency.
Joanna Williams, head of marketing for Ice, said: "The improvement in the strength of the pound against the euro will be welcome for UK families heading to the eurozone this summer."
She added: "UK travellers can make their money go further this summer - not only by picking the destinations where the pound has strengthened but by shopping around for the best rates online."
The euro and the US dollar topped the list of the firm"s most popular currencies this month, while the Thai baht and the Canadian dollar also featured in the top five along with the kuna.
