Bay of Plenty attracting more visitors to New Zealand by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Statistics New Zealand revealed that the number of guest nights in the region increased by 43.5% between June 2009 and the same month this year.

Tim Burgess, general manager of Tourism Bay of Plenty, revealed that the latest figure continues a strong trend in the region.

"Our March, April and May 2010 also saw increased guest nights of 22.3%, 14% and 19.5% respectively, so we"re really happy with these figures," he said.

As well as enjoying the picturesque surroundings, visitors to the Bay of Plenty can try out local activities such as pleasure boating and game fishing.
