EasyJet to launch flights to Luxor by Cheap Flights Booker UK

EasyJet has announced that it will launch the only non-stop scheduled flights from London Gatwick to Luxor in Egypt this year.

The twice-weekly services will go on sale this week and will begin operating on 3 November.

To promote the route launch, the airline has arranged for a caravan of camels led by the ancient Egyptian icons of Cleopatra and Tutankhamun to appear in Potters Fields Park in London on 11 August.

Visitors will be offered free rides on the camels between 12:00 and 14:00.

"Luxor is an ideal destination for a winter sun sightseeing holiday and our new route offers the best value, least hassle solution to get there."

The city is often used as a base for travellers visiting famous attractions such as the Valley of the Kings, the tomb of Tutankhamun and Luxor Temple.

EasyJet also operates flights to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports.
