Flybe seeing strong last-minute demand by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Flybe has reported strong last-minute demand for the 1,836 flights that will be operating across its network over the bank holiday weekend from 27 to 30 August 2010.

Passenger numbers for the long weekend are up 5% compared to the same period last year.

The Edinburgh Festival has provided a boost for the airline"s flights to the Scottish capital, with routes from Birmingham and Southampton proving particularly popular.

All of Flybe"s top ten services for the August bank holiday weekend are UK-based, with connections from London Gatwick to the Channel Islands and from Manchester to Belfast leading the list.
