Monarch extends web check-in service by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Monarch Airlines has announced an extension to its online check-in facility, meaning it is now available to people catching scheduled flights up to 18 days prior to travel.

Customers planning to check in via the web must do so at least 4.5 hours before their departure time.

The option is available to all passengers with pre-allocated seats who are travelling on Monarch"s scheduled services from Birmingham, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports.

Seats offering an extra six inches of leg room are available from £15 per flight.

Tim Jeans, the airline"s managing director, revealed that there has been "overwhelming demand" for online check-in, with more than 20% of scheduled customers using the service.

He added: "It is fantastic that we have now been able to extend our online check-in facility from seven days to 18 days prior to travel, which will allow customers on a 14-night trip to check in for both their outbound and return flights and print off all their boarding passes prior to leaving the UK."

Monarch operates routes to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Cyprus and Turkey from its four UK bases.
