Oman Air to launch flights to Kathmandu by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers interested in seeing Nepal will soon be able to catch new flights to Kathmandu with Oman Air.
The carrier will launch a direct service to the Nepalese capital from its base in Muscat on 2 September.
A Boeing 737-700 aircraft offering business class and economy seats will be used to operate the four weekly flights, which will depart on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Oman Air offers a direct link between London Heathrow and Muscat every day, meaning travellers setting off from the UK will be able to connect to the new route to Kathmandu.
Peter Hill, the carrier"s chief executive officer, said: "Oman Air is delighted to add the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu to its network.
"Kathmandu is a much-awaited destination and Oman Air would like to offer its customers in the region the opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world."
Mr Hill went on to say that strong corporate and leisure traffic on the route would play an important part in supporting economic development in Nepal.
