Virgin Atlantic Boosts Caribbean Flights
Virgin Atlantic boosts Caribbean flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Virgin Atlantic will increase capacity on its Caribbean flights for the winter 2011-12 season, meaning it will offer greater access to the region than any other UK carrier.
The airline will fly twice a week from Manchester to Barbados from 4 November 2011.
From London Gatwick, new weekly services to Tobago and Grenada will be available from 31 October next year and an additional Saturday flight to Havana will be added from 5 November 2011.
The changes mean that Virgin Atlantic will operate a total of 24 round-trips on Boeing 747-400 aircraft to the region every week.
Edmond Rose, the carrier"s director of commercial and revenue planning, said: "I"m delighted to announce these additional services to Barbados, Havana, Tobago and Grenada.
"Our Caribbean services are among our most popular and these extra flights will permit more flexible holiday itineraries, with more frequent departures available from both Manchester and London Gatwick airports."
Barbados is Virgin Atlantic"s most popular Caribbean destination, with more than 2.25m people having travelled to the island since the inaugural service in 1998.
