Air France And KLM Expand Mobile Offerings
Air France and KLM expand mobile offerings by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Air France and KLM have launched new mobile websites offering a range of services for passengers.
Once they have booked their flights and are preparing to travel, users of internet-enabled mobile devices can log on to the new web pages to check in and choose their seat.
Customers will also have the option to purchase additional baggage allowance at a discount or receive their boarding pass via text message or email.
Christian Herzog, senior vice president of marketing for Air France-KLM, said the new offering would provide "increased autonomy" for people travelling with both carriers and ensure passengers are well-informed.
Martijn van der Zee, vice president of e-commerce for the airline group, stated: "With online services that can be accessed via mobile devices, our customers now have more control over their journey.
"We are constantly on the lookout for more online products we can offer in this way, expanding our service to customers."
KLM confirmed earlier this year that it would be operating three additional flights from Amsterdam to Tokyo Narita from 4 November 2010.
