Emirates Offering More Access To West Africa
Emirates offering more access to west Africa by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers interested in exploring west Africa can now catch flights to Dubai with Emirates to connect to the airline"s new route to Dakar in Senegal.
The airline operated its first service between its hub in the Middle East and Dakar yesterday (1 September), making the African city the 105th destination in its network.
Passengers are carried on an Airbus A340-300 that will fly between the cities five times a week, offering 12 seats in first class, 42 in business and 213 in economy.
Emirates said that the new route provides an "easy, fast and convenient service for business and leisure travellers".
Nigel Page, the airline"s senior vice-president of commercial operations in Africa and the Americas, said: "Our new Dakar service is a further demonstration of Emirates" commitment to investing in and supporting the development of its pan-African footprint.
"Not only is the service already paying dividends through the creation of new jobs, such as our first Senegalese cabin crew and sales staff, but it will provide a significant long-term boost to trade and commerce in both the Middle East and west Africa."
Travellers planning to connect to the carrier"s global network can catch Airbus A380 flights to Dubai from London Heathrow or Manchester.
