Finnair To Offer More Flights To Asia
Finnair to offer more flights to Asia by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Finnair will offer a wider range of travel options for people planning a trip to Asia later this year and in 2011.
From the end of the year, the airline will increase its number of direct flights from Helsinki to Osaka and Nagoya in Japan, Seoul in South Korea and Delhi in India.
The company also announced that it would be opening a new route to "pulsating" Singapore in May 2011 and will increase its number of services to Hong Kong in June.
Mika Perho, Finnair"s senior vice-president of sales and marketing, said the airline is expanding its fleet and offering more services in Asia to cater for growing demand.
He added: "The shortest routes between Asia and Europe pass through Helsinki, so Finnair is able to offer its customers quick and efficient connections due to its
favourable geographical position."
People travelling from the UK can connect to the carrier"s long-haul network by catching flights to Helsinki from London Heathrow, which are also available with British Airways and SAS.
