Flybe has announced that it is cementing its commitment to Manchester airport with the addition of two new routes to Aberdeen in north-east Scotland and Nantes in north-west France.
Flights to Aberdeen will get underway on 6 December 2010 and operate three times a day during the week, once on Saturdays and twice on Sundays.
People travelling from Manchester will be offered four weekly return services to Nantes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from 7 December.
Passengers on both routes will be carried on Flybe"s Bombardier Q400 aircraft, which provide 78 seats in a 2x2 configuration.
Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said the airline was "delighted" to offer customers more choice from Manchester airport.
He added: "We have an enviable reputation for serving regional France and our new route linking Manchester with Nantes, Brittany"s most important commercial hub and the sixth largest city in France, demonstrates our ongoing commitment to expanding our route network and to providing innovative, quality travel options to key strategic destinations."
Flybe recently announced that it would be making more flights available between Birmingham and Aberdeen this year following the announcement that bmi Regional would be suspending services on the route from 30 October.
