Lufthansa launches A380 flights to Beijing by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Lufthansa extended the range of destinations served by the Airbus A380 with the recent launch of a service from Frankfurt to Beijing.
The airline flew the world"s largest passenger aircraft to China"s capital city on 1 September and is currently offering one weekly flight on the route.
Plans are in place to increase the frequency of the service in the near future.
Lufthansa is using its third Airbus A380 to operate the route from Frankfurt to Beijing.
On 12 September, the airline will extend its range of superjumbo flights with the introduction of a service to Johannesburg in South Africa, which will provide two weekly connections on Thursdays and Sundays.
The German carrier has configured the A380 to accommodate up to 526 passengers, with 420 economy seats available on the main deck.
Other companies currently using the plane to operate international passenger services include Air France, Singapore Airlines, Qantas and Emirates.
