Mr Incorvaja also highlighted the island group"s accessibility, with Air Malta and other carriers currently offering flights from various airports in the UK.

Other winners at the 2010 Group Leisure Awards included Virgin Atlantic and London, which were named the best airline for groups and best UK city respectively.
