New Madagascar guide launched by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Adventurous travellers planning to visit the island of Madagascar might be interested in a new guide to the destination.

Madagascar Travel Companion was created by Sara LeHoullier, who has been exploring the island from top to bottom since 2005.

As a volunteer, researcher and traveller, Ms LeHoullier has enjoyed some of the diverse and fulfilling experiences on offer in Madagascar, from exploring unspoilt rainforests to sampling unusual local cuisine.

The new guide is designed to help visitors get off the beaten track and experience some of the lesser-known, more authentic sides of Madagascar.

"I wanted to help travellers, especially English speakers, to have the unique experience and authentic cross-cultural exchange that they deserve, at the pace they could determine themselves," Ms LeHoullier said.

"[I] had the desire to give Malagasy people the opportunity to show themselves off to the rest of the world through this travel companion."

Released by Other Places Publishing, the guide features colour photography by Christi Turner and Lindsay Redifer and some practical advice and information relating to cultural experiences and responsible tourism.
