Queensland prepares for "quirky" events by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers visiting Queensland over the next three months should have no trouble finding things to do, according to the state"s tourism agency.
Tourism Queensland released a list of what it describes as "the biggest, wackiest and quirkiest" events set to take place in the region.
Bundaberg will be at the heart of the action, offering experiences such as Bundy Thunder, the largest powerboat circuit racing contest in Australia.
Holidaymakers visiting the city between 5 and 7 November will be able to see some spectacular watersports action and check out some of the community events that are arranged during the festival.
Ipswich will play host to the BAM! Fest from 8 to 10 October, showcasing a range of local musicians and artists.
There will also be plenty of events for food and drink lovers to attend in Queensland this year, such as Tastes of the Tablelands in Atherton (17 October), which will feature cooking demonstrations by young chefs, fashion parades and more.
