Aer Arann To Extend Shannon To Manchester Service
Aer Arann to extend Shannon to Manchester service by Cheap Flights Booker UK
More flights are to be made available on the franchise route between Manchester and Shannon in Ireland, which is operated by Aer Arann in partnership with Aer Lingus.
Frequency is to be increased on the service to offer twice-daily connections on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The change means that passengers will be able to take day return journeys from Manchester to Shannon and vice versa, eliminating the need for an overnight stay.
Aer Arann expects this added convenience to be welcomed by corporate travellers using the route.
The new flights will operate from 31 October.
Andrew Kelly, corporate affairs director for Aer Arann, said: "We are delighted to offer increased choice and flexibility to customers using this service.
"Since it first launched in July 2010, the service has proved extremely successful and we are responding to passenger requests to increase the frequency on this route to offer day return services."
The carrier also operates Aer Lingus Regional services to Shannon from Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow.
