Airbus A380 Production Underway For Korean Air
Airbus A380 production underway for Korean Air by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Korean Air this week unveiled the production line of its first A380 at the headquarters of Airbus in Toulouse, France.
The airline said that its new superjumbo will feature more than 400 seats and will strengthen the company"s position as a "leading global carrier".
With fewer seats than other operators currently using the A380, Korean Air plans to maximise cabin space for passengers and provide a spacious and comfortable travel experience.
Ten A380s have been ordered by the airline, the first of which is scheduled for delivery in May 2011.
Five of the planes will be in operation across the carrier"s network by the end of next year, increasing capacity in the Asia Pacific region and providing more links between Asia and Europe.
Korean Air is the sixth carrier to incorporate the A380 into its fleet, after Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qantas, Air France and Lufthansa.
UK travellers planning a trip to the Far East can catch flights to Seoul from London Heathrow with Korean Air.
