BA teams up with VisitBritain to promote UK tourism by Cheap Flights Booker UK

VisitBritain has announced that it is launching a £1.6m promotional campaign in partnership with British Airways.

The initiative is designed to highlight the diversity of sights and attractions on offer across the UK and how easy it is for travellers to reach different locations with BA.

It will also refer to research showing that there are more world-class history and heritage sites in Britain than anywhere else in the world.

Economy passengers will be able to take advantage of special flight fares that will be made available during the campaign.

Laurence Bresh, director of marketing at VisitBritain, said: "Britain has more attractions per square mile than anywhere else in the world and we think the "classic" campaign will inspire visitors to travel the length and breadth of the country."

Kate Thornton, BA"s head of global marketing planning, commented: "We are delighted to be launching this campaign with VisitBritain. Whatever you are looking for from a holiday, Britain definitely has something to offer."

The airline operates a network of domestic services from its base at London Heathrow that includes flights to Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
