Egyptian Hospitality Will Remain Despite Tourism Boom

Egyptian hospitality "will remain despite tourism boom" by Cheap Flights Booker UK

The expansion of Egypt"s tourism sector will not prevent the country from offering a warm and personal welcome to its visitors, a spokesman for the industry has claimed.

IQPC Middle East recently released a report showing that Egypt is experiencing an unprecedented boom in tourism, prompting widespread hotel development to accommodate the growing number of visitors.

Khaled Ramy, director of the Egyptian State Tourist Office in London, stressed that authorities are keen to ensure that the industry maintains its responsible approach despite the growth.

"We are strictly implementing the rules of sustainable development, taking care of the local communities and the environment," he said.

"It goes without saying that Egyptians are friendly, welcoming people and despite the developments that are going on, true Egyptian hospitality will remain an important aspect in our culture."

Mr Ramy revealed that several major tourism destinations are welcoming a higher number of visitors, such as the Nile valley, Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, as well as the Red Sea resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh.
