Atout France, the company"s tourism development agency, revealed that the first new luxury property due to open its doors is the Raffles Royal Monceau, which will begin welcoming guests on 18 October.

Le Shangri La Paris is due to open in December and will boast some of the biggest rooms in the city, offering views of landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower.
The 1930s Art Deco rooms of Le Mandarin Oriental are currently being transformed by interior designer Sybille de Margerie ahead of the hotel"s opening in mid-2011.
Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx will open his first restaurant at the hotel.
Summer 2012 will see the opening of Le Peninsula Paris, a property located in a former conference centre of the French foreign ministry that will feature about 200 rooms.
